Is this theoretically possible?
Sep 2nd
Question by leblongeezer: Is this theoretically possible? Would it be possible to build a solar power farm with satelites orbiting between the Sun and Earth and beaming this energy straight into thermo-electric plants? Would this work as a double pronged aproach to reduce global warming?
It would probably have to be a satelite belt orbiting Earth. But, suppose that by putting hundreds or thousands of satelites at a time in front of the sun, we could reduce – say 0.01% – of the Sun’s direct radiation and that this energy was beamed directly into thermo power plants. Maybe this could be done More >

Question by baltic072: Can Hydrogen be extracted from water as an inexhaustible fuel source? If so how? Theoretically? Aisde and apart from the conspiracy theroies as to why there are forces at work to detain this technology and stop it any and all costs , namely the Exxon, BP, and other oil giants…is this possible?

Is it theoretically possible to run a normal gasoline engine on hydrogen gas?

Question by CanadianGuitar: Is it theoretically possible to run a normal gasoline engine on hydrogen gas? if so…why are we building all these expensive “hydrogen fuel cells”? Why cant we just use hydrogen as fuel in the cars we drive already!?! The product of the combustion of hydrogen is just water right? So the environmental benefit would be the same I believe? If so, Im going to hook up my lawnmower to some hydrogen haha

Question by Pete V: If time travel is even theoretically possible, why has nobody from the future brought the technology forward? or should that be backwards???

Answer by Monica..uh…maybe they have laws in the future, and you can’t take technology back before it was invented…
