Simon power plant, burning coal produces steam in a boiler, the steam flows through turbines, the rotating turbines drive electric generators, the generators deliver alternating current to the transformer station, and the transformers provide emf to the campus electric grid. Thus electric power is available throughout the MSU campus.

I need at least 2 technologies/products that are used today that were originally made by NASA during the apollo missions? I meant used by all of us, like used by the public.

Answer by StarryskyLunar laser ranging experiment with corner cubes as retro-reflectors. Still used nightly when clear and moon is up. PLSS or Personal Life Support System (space suit) for Apollo astronauts. Upgraded version still used by shuttle astronauts.
