For instance: I have heard people say that they have cameras in space that can zoom in so far into earth it can see if a quarter is heads or tails up. If thats the case, why cant we find osama using these allegidly good cameras?

In ages past, people thought rains were a miracle made by God, but today we can make the skies rain if we want. Eventually, the humans will be able to figure out how to live forever and live in meteors.
Unless, of course, evil aliens don’t wipe us out first.

Virtual reality or a stable economy?

Technological advancements are miniscule baby steps and never on a macroscale. Projects on a grand scale are impossible due to the world being a logistical nightmare. A perfect example of how backward things are is that there is no major highway that connects Phoenix and Las Vegas. You have to drive through the mountains at an elevation of 3000 ft. on one lane roads with no guardrails to get from Phoenix to Las Vegas. That’s the Wild West.
