Answer by Praveen BIT has more focus on management related aspects while giving lesser attention to Programming languages,covering only basics..
Comp science is more focused on the programming and hardware knowledge part.. Go for comp science if you want to be a programmer and go for IT if you plan to do post grad (mba) specializing in IT marketing etc..
