Question by C.S.: Why can’t some Conservatives realize that energy independence is only achievable with green energy? The internal combustion engine keeps us linked with Saudi Arabia. So, why do anything to oppose getting off of gasoline. There is no way that domestic sources, even drilling everywhere we can, would be able to sustain U.S. energy needs for the next 20 years.

People around the world are using it, I’ve ridden the clean quiet green public transit systems, I’ve seen the windmills, ridden the bike lanes, etc. I’ve showered with the solar shower, turned on the lights and watched TV on the web with it too. And it wasn’t expensive. Conservatives are against it, and they say it’s just too expensive. Should I believe them? Is it wrong to believe my own eyes and ears?

coming from you guys in regard to ‘green automobiles’. I listened to Rush Limbaugh yesterday ( I like his show and agree with a lot of what he says), and he was sarcastically referencing ‘green automobiles’, and joking about us all driving ‘tiny green cars’, thanks to Obama. Many of you leave sarcastic Q/A on here about ‘green technology’.
I don’t get it…..are you AGAINST alternative energy automobiles? Since when are you ‘anti-innovation’? I get it. I am against any ‘mandates’ as well.
