With all the tecnology they cant seem to stop this poppy production by poor farmers in the region so maybe with the troops in there they could sort this, Is it part of there mission?

Is it why there sending mre troops to this area?

What is the mission? I missed 60 minutes but i am reading quite a bit about this tonight, In 2000 the Taliban banned poppy saying it was unholy and the 2001 harvest was almost nil, 2007 was a very big harvest for afghanistan so i dont get this.
