Question by sundarvenk: Advertisement based internet businesses? I have a great doubt about internet businesses that rely on advertisement. What is the barrier to customer withdrawal for such businesses? For example, when we take desktop software businesses like Microsoft the customers have some barriers like existing infrastructure and lock-in technology. Is there a similar thing in advertisement-based services that present some form of barrier to customer withdrawal. Also does not relying on advertisement present a fragile business case?

Is Yao Ming the model of how we should be?

They are doing it in China – should it be done in other countries as well?

Is having a GM player on your basketball team similar to having a team member using steriods – should it be banned? Would this then interfere with the GM person’s human rights?
