Question by dogbone5823: DEP is shutting down Internet Explorer during downloads?
I have Windows Vista and the data execution program is closing Internet Explorer whenever I download anything from the web. I have run a full virus scan of my computer and turned off DEP for Internet Explorer but nothing has worked. Any advice for someone who’s not that great with technology?

That’s the problem with buying a new OS before it’s fully tested. Vista’s DEP has bugs.

windows vista is still a new program and it still does not have alot of old programs installed yet so when your downloading a file it will not recognize the download.
