Question by Stan S: Should all the potential geothermal power generation sites in the world be used for clean energy? Is this a good way to increase the percentage of the worlds energy generation that is clean green and renewable? Would it be a good step in moving towards a world where all energy generation

Most blades are white. When stationary this is not much problem. When they turn this can be confusing – Perhaps a color would help. The blades must turn. The idea is to make them more visable to birds color reception. At night – That is another story altogether.

I think Organ builder has the right idea. I live near a big wind farm and they are getting flack from bird lovers over a few dead birds — more flack than is necessary, I think. But the blades are just white, whole length. If they painted the last half of the blades some different color, maybe the birds would avoid them better. And, we have to keep the whole thing realistic. There are not huge mounds of dead birds piling up to be removed by bulldozers. Just a few here and there.

Not sure whether any “Wind-Farmer” thought of this, but at airports we use strong loudspeakers that emit raptor calls.
