Restaurant management software (InnoWaiter) with wireless ordering turns waiters into InnoWaiters

InnoWaiter  complete Restaurant management software with wireless ordering

Your friendly restaurant waiter in Pakistan is going tech-savvy and become an InnoWaiter, taking orders on a PDA

and making a wireless transmission of the order to the restaurant kitchen. So the next time you eat out, you may find him making fewer trips to the kitchen, and paying more attention to you.
The technology has been introduced by a few restaurants, but soon your neighborhood takeaway could go the same way, thanks to decreasing cost of the technology and the ease of use.

SORCIM Technologies becomes the leader of the technology in Pakistan by introducing  a complete Restaurant management system with wireless ordering InnoWaiter.

“We see smaller, standalone restaurants getting interested in wireless computing,” says Taslim Ahmed, Manager at SORCIM Technologies, which has developed the restaurant management software. The technology ensures that orders are speeded up and also allows restaurant staff to spend more time on their guests.

Adds Tahir Yaaseen, Owner China Town Islamabad, “The restaurant management software InnoWaiter also helps to compute data like average spend per person and popularity analysis of the dishes and the restaurant. That makes it informative.”

This not only helped us to monitor the performance of our employees from remote locations but also helped build more efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Wireless transmission of the order, coupled with various colour coding indicates the status of the order.

A study found that most waiters spend 65% of their time at the touchscreen monitor, trying to place the order, while 35% of the time goes into billing.

They are hardly interacting with the guest. At times, the delay in placing the order with the kitchen is so long that they could do it faster manually. This defeats the purpose of using technology. But now with the latest technology and Wi-Fi connectivity, problems are eliminated.

many restaurants in Pakistan are planning to introduce or expand the use of this technology. It is seen to be very useful for the in room mini bar billing, as also in the bars in hotels which have a constant flow of people and several kinds of orders.

To cut down on “trouble makers,” of course. From The Herald Sun (AU) www.news.com.au A MELBOURNE nightclub has installed facial recognition software to stamp out thugs and known troublemakers. Chasers nightclub in Chapel St, which already has metal detectors to screen patrons for weapons, believes the system is one of the first in the world for nightclubs. Management now wants the technology to be adopted in other nightclubs to create a security network. Assaults and violence around nightspots is increasing. Melbourne’s Lord Mayor Robert Doyle said the technology could help the fight against violence, and should be looked at for venues on their last warnings. The face-recognition technology was installed at Chasers on the weekend. It was bought after a chemical bomb was let off in the venue last year. On entering, patrons’ faces are scanned by a camera and the image and driver’s licence details are stored on computer for 28 days. If someone banned from the club tries to enter, their face comes up with a red mark, alerting security to a problem. Head of security Andrew McDonald said the system would work best in unison with other clubs, so that violent thugs can’t move between clubs. “There are fights in nightclubs, and we want to stop these troublemakers coming in,” Mr McDonald said. About 20 people have been banned from the club in the past three years for weapons offences, fighting, or disrespecting security staff. Chasers owner Martha Tsamis, who also owns Inflation on
