The green screen is a unique technology with which you can transport your subject from the world of reality into the world of imagination. It is a basis of visual effects employed by the photographers to make a video or pictures appear attractive and visually appealing. Photograph a subject in a studio against either blue or green background color. These two colors are specifically chosen as they are farthest from the human skin tone. The farthest a background color is from a human skin tone, fewer are chances of it being entangled with the skin tone of the subject. The ‘color spill’ is a process which causes reflection of background color on the face of the subject due to excessive of light. Remove the shadow areas falling on the clothes or face of the subject. This can be done by using a ‘fill light’ for the purpose of filling the shadow areas on the subject. Once you photograph a subject, you can start the editing. A person can make the subject enact a scene for a film and edit the video with a variety of editing software available in the market. In the editing tool, a person can apply visual effects or transitions as per the requirement. You can also incorporate animation in the film whenever necessary. In this way, a video or a picture can be customized with appropriate use of green screen effects.
