Was Iraq just an excuse to make billions if not trillions?
Its one of the oldest con games in the world. its called “Bringing order out of chaos” In fact theres an old latin phrase “Ordo Ab Chao”
The basic premise is that first you find a juicy target country, send the bombers and troops in to destroy it, then you award yourselves the rebuilding contracts. Just check a few of these contractors who have collectively made trillions from Iraq, they would not have made all this money without an invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan ;
Kellogg, Brown & Root (Halliburton)
Iraq $10,832,000,000
Kellogg, Brown & Root (Halliburton)
Afghanistan $599,000,000
American International Contractors, Inc.
Iraq $1,500,000,000
CACI International Inc.
Iraq $66,221,143.19
DynCorp (Computer Sciences Corp.)
Afghanistan $43,559,421
DynCorp (Computer Sciences Corp.)
Iraq $50,000,000
Environmental Chemical Corporation
Iraq $1,475,000,000
Explosive Ordnance Technologies Inc.
Iraq $1,475,000,000
Fluor Corp.
Iraq $3,754,964,295
International American Products Inc.
Iraq $628,421,252
Parsons Corp.
Iraq $5,286,136,252
Ronco Consulting Corporation
Iraq $12,008,289.60
Shaw Group/Shaw E & I
Iraq $3,050,749,910
Stanley Baker Hill L.L.C.
Iraq $1,200,000,000
Zapata Engineering
Iraq $1,478,838,958
(Didnt president Bush once head up Zapata oil?)
Yep I did ask it before but I pushed the back button to correct a few typos.
And sure those corporations would have made money with or without the invasion, Only they wouldnt have made a fraction of what the invasions earned them.

those groups would have been profitable with or without Iraq, and Afghanistan sorry to inform you of that truth.
War is not about money other than what it costs. war has never been about money making, because it cost money to wage war on any scale. it may create the circumstances to make people or businesses wealthy, but that is life live with it.

Zapata Engineering is in no way affiliated with any of the Bush family businesses. The name is purely coincidence. Another thing to consider is that these contract values which are published by the gov’t are pretty deceiving, usually looking much larger than they are. For example, a company could win a $500 million dollar proposal. This, however, does not mean they can actually bill the government 500 million bucks. Instead, about a dozen companies usually win the same large proposal and the government will award bits and pieces to each one. So a 500 million dollar win might only mean $25~$50 million of work.
