Question by Chris the Dude: How would you convert your Ipod mini so that it only ran on solar power?
i store solar power in a 12 volt batt. and wanted to know how i would get it to my “L”pod (becuse it will soon be better than your ipod)

-You’d have to use your stored power to charge the pod’s internal battery. Since a pod charges off the usb port of a computer and usb puts out 5 volts that’s a place to start. You’ll need a transformer to step your voltage down to 5 volts or a large resistor. Check the specs of an existing charger and make sure your current is also a close match, too much will burn up your player! Once you have your output voltage/current right, get a cheap ipod charger and wire you battery into it. Voila!
